The Mall is a complex meeting of two mediums, photo etching and silkscreen. The paper must be wet for etching and dry for silkscreen this means that the images are always being printed off register making it very difficult to match both mediums. Around fifty prints were spoilt during this process.
The background is hand screed before being etched and silkscreened, then each print has been finished with gold leaf.
